Interesting comment re Matt Phillips both myself and the guy sat next to me felt he could have been substituted but all subsequent reports suggested not. Interesting to see you agree. My prediction for Weds is 2-2 so 'pool going through 3-2.Harrynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1354971713619823814.post-14818198684178370462012-05-08T08:58:39.445+01:002012-05-08T08:58:39.445+01:00Nicely balanced article. However there's a feeling amongst fans that we won't be as timid in the second leg. Hughton tried to contain and hit on the counter attack. Up until the goal it was working to some degree but we never held the ball well all night.
whatever happens on Wednesday we're expecting a classic and exciting night and I think your support will play its part in a fantastic atmosphere at Stan's.
My feeling, surprisingly, is that we'll edge a thriller. if we don't, I feel you'll have to have earned your result, so I will wish you well.
so, until tomorrow, may the best team win.
PS: I believe the winner will come from our match, which I always thought would be our most difficult. Birmingham will score at home and if they do first on wed i can only see a Birmingham victory.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1354971713619823814.post-54852525199887828202012-05-07T19:32:40.313+01:002012-05-07T19:32:40.313+01:00very nice blog,

Thank you.

Blackpool seem to play much better when they are under pressure - the evidence is in all those fight-backs from being a goal down.

My personal opinion (for what it's worth) is that a 1-0 lead is better than 2-0 for us.

It puts us under pressure if Birmingham score and puts us through if they don't.

LinoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
